Can I be a Christian and not believe most of what's in the religion?

I mean....if I believe in God, I'd also have to believe that a donkey talked,that Elijah went up in the sky in a flying chariot, I'd have to believe that a snake talked,I also have to believe in virgin birth in humans, water turning into wine and people coming back from the dead.Then I'd have to stop being skeptical about testimonies of miracles and people speaking in tongues. What I'm I to do?
