Why is a high bridged nose considered beautiful for Asians?

Every relative or random Asian person I meet comment on how beautiful my face looks because I have a small, high bridged nose. They even said my nose looked perfect and that I was lucky to be born with that nose. What is up with that? Why are they obsessing over my nose? Flat noses are beautiful as tall bridged noses in my opinion. I'm vietnamese btw.
