What is the main story line for 'Forbidden' by Tabitha Suzuma? I know what it's about but what happens in it?

What happens in the end? I haven't had the time to read it but really what to know what happens to the characters as everyone says its a beautiful ending. What happens to Lochan and Maya and the rest of the family?
