If god created the universe in 6 days why did it take this god thousands of years to write a small book?

It's lucky that God thinks exactly like me, so I got that going for me. jk, I'm Atheist. With only about 10% of Christians that have actually read the book, it's safe to say that most Christians believe because they were brought up to fit in and go with the crowd, not out of any scrutiny of information. Once someone decides to investigate their belief, they rarely remain a Theist.
